Relationships & Life
Its ironic that I wrote about friends the other day. I think our souls know when there is something stirring, something happening that cannot yet be seen. When that stir occurs it causes a feeling that you can't quite explain. I had that sort of feeling the other day and decided to write about it. Typically, I'm not one to think about friends, I just simply appreciate the ones I have every single day of my existence. I've realized its important to do so because people do have a tendency to change ever so quickly. I have been left baffled by so many people, in so many situations because I thought one thing about them, then I feel like the "real" them showed up. In most cases I'm not prepared. Today, I feel a bit betrayed by a friend, or someone I once considered my friend. My true friend. I had an inkling in the back of my mind that they were not who I thought they were, but I kind of ignored it. I am writing to advise everyone to not ignore their intuition. It is ALWAYS right. Sometimes we hope for the best in people, but know that we are not capable in changing anyone. You can hope, but in reality hope will get you just that...hope. I'm hurt today. I feel like something so miraculous is shifting with me. I just know that has to be the reason for this feeling and this specific happening. It is hard to feel used by someone you care about, to feel like they are there for selfish reasons, but little do they know at some point in time they will be the one to feel the pain of loss. I'm going to hold my composure, keep my strength and power through because that is the person I am meant to be...I'm going to strive to be better and not do what that person has done to me. I'm playing the Alicia Keys song in my head and saying proudly..."wait till you see my smile." Everytime someone hurts you, everytime you are feeling neglected or betrayed, say that in your head and just smile. :):):) No one can steal your smile, and that is worth an infinite amount of reassurance :):):):);)
